Tomorrow, Saturday, November 7, our five state qualifiers will represent James Clemens Cross Country at the 2026 AHSAA XC State Championship!

We are incredibly proud of these student-athletes and all they have accomplished this season. Their hard work, dedication, and determination have earned them a place among Alabama's best!

This year's qualifiers represent a special combination of experience and new beginnings. John Litavec and Luke Bogardus return to the State Championship as experienced competitors, while Megan Angelucci, a senior competing in her very first Cross Country season, has earned her first state appearance. Emily Jones, a seventh grader also in her first Cross Country season, will make her State Championship debut, an impressive accomplishment so early in her running career!

Each athlete's journey has been different, but they share the same commitment, perseverance, and pride in representing James Clemens. We couldn't be prouder of their achievements and look forward to watching them compete on the state's biggest stage!
